We are about midway through February now and all those who are Maas fans have probably finished HOFAS. Sarah J Maas is amazing at world building and her book boyfriends are all amazing, even the ones that aren’t the main characters of the book, I mean look at all the love Az gets. If you’re looking for some more sexy fae, and badass female characters in a book with great story-telling and also that has it own universe to have multiple side stories I’ve got the book for you.
Amelia Hutchins is an author who I have loved for many years, the first book I read of her was Fighting Destiny which is part of her book series called The Fae Chronicles. You’re introduced to Synthia who is a badass witch assassian basically who hates all things fae, she’s been trained to take out the fae that break the laws in the mortal world. Unfortunately for her no matter how much she hates the fae it doesn’t stop the leader of her guild from sending her into the belly of the beast and forcing her to work with Ryder the Prince of the Dark Fae and his cabal of hotties. Her job is to pretend to be fae using a glamour and help them find the would be assassian of the prince’s fiance. However, there is much more going on behind the scenes Synthia finds out when bodies start dropping around her both fae and witch. Forced to move in with Ryder in order to solve the murders she sees the fae in a way she hasn’t before.
